External characteristics
Forewing length (mm): 15-17.
General morphology:
Antennae slightly longer than half length of forewing, apiculus obtuse, nudum with 11 segments. Palpi second segment porrect. Forewing broad-elongate, costa arched, gently curved termen, hind margin much longer than termen. Hindwing evenly rounded, inner margin not longer than costa.
Wing coloration:
Upper side: Upper side and underside of all wings plain dark brown, sometimes three hyaline apical dots on the forewing.
Secondary sexual characters:
There are no secondary sexual characters.
Species
One species, extending from northern India and southern China southward to Sumatra and Java.
