External characteristics
Male
Wingspan (mm): 59 (Braby, 2004), 70 (Feltwell, 1993).
Forewings: The upper side wing surface is uniformly grey-blue coloured, and lacks the white areas. The forewing upper side has a narrow black apical area. The forewing underside has an uniformly grey-white ground-colour, without the orange coloured cell (Braby, 2004).
