MORPHOLOGY

External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 23-25.

General morphology:
Antennae with long club and long recurved acute apex. Forewing rounded. Hindwing tornus very slightly extended, termen more or less indented above tornus.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing unmarked black, iridescent blue in basal area. Upper side hindwing as upper side forewing. 

Underside: Underside forewing as upper side but with whitish blurred spots in spaces cua1, cua2 and m3, in cell (very small) and in one species at apex. Underside hindwing plain black with tiny whitish dots in space cua3 and cell.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
No secondary sexual characters.  

Species

 
Two species, together extending from the Moluccas and Waigeo through mainland New Guinea tot the Solomon Islands.
