MORPHOLOGY

External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 17-19.

General morphology:
Antennae longer than half of length of forewing, club very stout, obtusely angled at thickest part, nudum 14 segments. Forewing rounded-triangular, costa almost straight, termen evenly curved, hind margin as long as or longer than termen. Hindwing termen rounded, slightly protruded at tornus, inner margin as long as costa.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing unmarked dark brown or with pale yellow, separated discal spots and cell spot. Upper side hindwing dark brown with pale yellow discal spots, may be obscure. 

Underside: Underside forewing similar to upper side. Underside hindwing similar to upper side or with a wide white band from costa to inner margin.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
No secondary sexual characters.  

Species

 
Two species, restricted to New Guinea. Few specimens known.
