MORPHOLOGY

External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 14-19.

General morphology:
Antennae longer than half of length of forewing, apiculus obtuse to moderately hooked, nudum 13-15 segments. Forewing relatively broad, termen weakly curved, hind margin longer than termen. Hindwing termen evenly rounded, termen very slightly produced; inner margin as long as costa.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing brown with a few white hyaline spots including a two spots in cell, one lying over the other; weak orange streak lying over basal half of vein 1A+2. Upper side hindwing brown with centrally some orange scales. 

Underside: Underside much like upper side, on hindwing indistinct orangish markings; veins concolorous with ground color.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
No secondary sexual characters.
