External characteristics
Forewing length (mm): 17-25.
General morphology:
Antennae longer than half of length of forewing, club may be conspicuously whitened, apiculus obtuse to moderately hooked, nudum 13-15 segments. Forewing elongate-triangular, termen weakly curved to almost straight, hind margin longer than termen. Hindwing termen evenly rounded, inner margin as long as costa.
Wing coloration:
Upper side: Upper side forewing dark brown, unmarked in male of two species in the area covered here in the females as well as in both sexes of the third species with well-developed white hyaline spots including a large spot in cell. Upper side hindwing unmarked blackish brown.
Underside: Underside of all wings as upper side but on forewing a paler or whitish tornal area.
Secondary sexual characters:
No secondary sexual characters.
