External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 26.

General morphology:
Antennae longer than half of length of forewing, apiculus hooked, nudum 16 segments. Forewing elongate-triangular, costa and termen almost straight, hind margin longer than termen. Hindwing termen rounded in apical half, but slightly protruding at tornus, inner margin shorter than costa.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing dark brown with a broad irregular yellow band from outer half of vein 1A+2A to mid costa. Upper side hindwing plain dark brown. 

Underside: Underside similar to upper side.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
Male without secondary sexual characters.
