External characteristics
Forewing length (mm): 24.
General morphology:
Antennae club bent at or shortly after its commencement to form a finely pointed apiculus, nudum 23 segments. Palpi porrect. Forewing triangular with almost straight termen in male, but termen gently curved in female; hind margin as long as termen. Hindwing evenly rounded, inner margin slightly longer than costa; cell shorter than half wing.
Wing coloration:
Upper side: Upper side forewing dark brown with white hyaline apical spots as follows: three small apical spots and centrally three more or less conjoined spots in cell, spaces cua1 and cua2 and partly in space m3. Upper side hindwing dark brown.
Underside: Underside forewing as upper side but with paler area in apical part. Underside hindwing as upper side, but with paler areas, more pronounced in female.
Secondary sexual characters:
No secondary sexual characters.
