MORPHOLOGY

External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 25.

General morphology:
Antennae longer than half of length of forewing, apiculus long, hooked, nudum 25 segments. Forewing elongate-triangular, costa and termen almost straight, hind margin as long as than termen; vein M2 decurved at origin. Hindwing termen evenly rounded in apical half, hardly protruding at tornus, inner margin as long as costa; cell shorter than half length of wing.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing dark brown with a complete series of hyaline discal spots as well as a spot near apex of cell. Upper side hindwing dark brown with a straight series of white hyaline discal spots. 

Underside: Underside forewing as upper side, but ground color a bit paler. Underside hindwing white with a broad dark brown margin along termen.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
Male upper side forewing with a small stigma.  

Species

 
One species, extending from S. Myanmar to Borneo.
