External characteristics
Male
Forewing length (mm): 27 (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
Forewings: Both sexes have very narrow and elongated wings. The forewing has a blackish border, which is narrowly white edged along the termen (D'Abrera, 1982; Yata and Morishita, 1979).
Female
Forewing length (mm): 27 (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
The sexes are similar, but females have a broader forewing, which measures 10 mm at the costa, and the costal dusting is dark and slightly more pronounced (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
