External characteristics
Male
Forewings: The forewing has a black coloured apical marking, which makes inwardly a right angle at vein M1 to M2 (Yata and Morishita, 1979). Hindwings The hindwing underside is white coloured, except for the yellow coloured area along the costa (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
