External characteristics
Male
Forewings: The upper side wing surface is covered with a blue-ish grey colour. The forewing underside is also blue-ish grey coloured, but has yellow colouration on the apical area (Yata and Morishita, 1979). Hindwings The hindwing is uniformly yellow coloured (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
