Hindwings The veins are suffused with green colouration (Feltwell, 1993).
Female
Forewing length (mm): 32 - 48 (Jonko, 2021). Wingspan (mm):50 (Feltwell, 1993).
The forewing has more spots in females (Feltwell, 1993).
Subspecies and variation
21 subspecies are described (Jonko, 2021). Some subspecies are yellow coloured or are a dark form (Feltwell, 1993).
