MORPHOLOGY

External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 20-22.

General morphology:
Antennae slightly longer than half length of forewing, nudum with at most 16 segments Forewing broad with gently curved termen, hind margin longer than termen. Hindwing evenly rounded, inner margin slightly longer than costa, anal vein (3A) much shorter than vein Sc+R1.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing brown with numerous small whitish hyaline spots. Upper side hindwing brown, tornal quarter orange, yellow or white, series of rather indistinct darker spots across wing. 

Underside: Underside forewing and hindwing as upper side.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
Male mid and hind tibiae furnished with a recumbent tuft.  

Species

 
Two species, extending from northeastern India to the Philippines, Borneo and Java.
