External characteristics
Male
Forewings: The forewing upper side is black, with the proximal part white with sometimes grey diffusion coloured. The forewing underside is black coloured, with three pale yellow to white subapical spots, followed by a terminal spot (Pequin, 2021). Hindwings The hindwing upper side is white coloured, with a black border and grey diffusion at the inner edge. The hindwing underside is black coloured (Pequin, 2021).
