External characteristics
Male
Forewings: The forewing upper side is white coloured, has a black coloured costa and a black to grey coloured border. The forewing underside has a slightly broader black border than on the upper side and bears three yellow subapical spots (Pequin, 2021). Hindwings The hindwing upper side is white coloured, with a black border. In the base, along the anal area and at the inner edge of the black border, there is a blue grey diffusion. The hindwing underside is mainly black coloured, with a white streak in the basal area and has a white spot. There is a triangular spot with a pink brown diffusion (Pequin, 2021).
