External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 55. Wingspan (mm): 85.
Forewings: Upperside whitish in central area from hind margin to end of cell, blackened in basal half of cell, along veins and from outer margin and apex inwards, inconspicuous pale submarginal spots; underside similar, but brown instead of blackish Hindwings slightly Crenulate, without tail; upperside basal 2/3 whitish, broad black border with very inconspicuous pale submarginal spots; underside similar but more brownish and veins strongly outlined in dark brown.
