External characteristics


Male 

Forewings: The forewing basal half is stained with grey scales. The forewing upper side has an obscure submarginal row of black spots (Yata and Morishita, 1979). Hindwings The hindwing upper side is at the costa stained with grey scales (Yata and Morishita, 1979).

Female  
The female has on the hindwing upper side a submarginal band and the ground-colour is tinged with orange (Yata and Morishita, 1979).  

Subspecies and variation

 
No subspecies (Yata and Morishita, 1979).

Similar species

This species is similar to Cepora aspasia (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
