External characteristics
Male
Forewings: The forewing underside lack the submarginal row of black spots (Yata and Morishita, 1979). Hindwings The hindwing has a conspicuous black coloured submarginal band. The hindwing underside is conspicuously whitened and the basal half is pale yellow-ish green (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
