Distribution
(Distributions are described for the entire Genus. For the distributions per species we recommend to consult the occurence maps from the external websites listed below.)Fifteen species of which three are confined to Africa, Madagascar and islands in the Indian Ocean. The twelve Asian species extend from India and China to Australia and the Solomon Islands; eleven species occur in the area covered here.
