OCCURENCE
Habitat: Forest - Subtropical/Tropical Moist Lowland
This butterfly inhabits primary rainforest and is a very conspicuous insect. Adults fly swiftly through the forest several metres above the ground. Males sometimes imbibe moisture from creek beds, together with other Graphium species. According to Tsukada and Nishiyama (1982) the species flies in the afternoon, while the parapatric G. androcles flies in the morning at the same localities.
