External characteristics
Male
Wingspan (mm): 51 (Moore, 1884).
Forewings: The upper side wing surface is pale yellowish white coloured. The base of the costal border of the forewing is sparsely black-speckled. There is a black coloured band at the apex, of which the inner border of the band is being curved and slightly irregular. The forewing underside is white coloured, with the apex pale yellow (Moore, 1884). Hindwings The hindwing is yellow coloured (Moore, 1884).
