External characteristics


Male 

Forewings: Both sexes have narrow wings. The forewing upper side has a nearly triangular black apical marking. The underside wing surface is white coloured (Yata and Morishita, 1979). 

Female  
Females have a broad fore- and hindwing border, which are black coloured (D'Abrera, 1982), this border occupies about one-third on the forewing upper side (Yata and Morishita, 1979).
