External characteristics

Forewing length (mm): 15-17.

General morphology:
Antennae about half of length of forewing, apiculus obtuse to moderately hooked, nudum 13-15 segments. Forewing elongate, termen straight from tornus to subapical area, hind margin longer than termen. Hindwing termen weakly curved, inner margin shorter than costa.

Wing coloration:

Upper side: Upper side forewing dark brown with or without well-marked white hyaline spots including a spot in cell. Upper side hindwing dark brown or tornal quarter or two-thirds white. 

Underside: Underside forewing as upper side or ferruginous apically. Underside of the hindwing as upper side or, in case of brown, a bit paler.

Secondary sexual characters:

 
No secondary sexual characters.  

Species

 
Three species, extending from NE. India to the Philippines, Borneo and Java. All three in the area covered here.
