External characteristics
Forewing length (mm): 20-23.
General morphology:
Antennae longer than half of length of forewing, club yellow-banded, apiculus hooked, nudum 16 segments. Palpi peculiar, very long, stout and porrect. Forewing elongate-triangular, costa almost straight, termen slightly curved, hind margin as long as termen. Hindwing termen evenly rounded, but slightly protruding at tornus, inner margin almost as long as costa.
Wing coloration:
Upper side: Upper side forewing dark brown with small white hyaline spots, including two in cell. Upper side hindwing dark brown with four small hyaline spots, tornally narrowly yellow.
Underside: Underside forewing upper side, but apical half lighter brown and narrow pale-yellow or white from tornus along termen to halfway termen. Underside hindwing as upper side, but tornal yellow (in female also white) more extensive.
Secondary sexual characters:
Male with obscure narrow brand along middle of vein CuA2 znd on upper side hindwing a hair tuft before inner margin.
Species
One species, only known from NE. India, N. Thailand and Borneo.
