Mesic-associated species prefer mesic habitats. Mesic habitats are intermediately moist compared to Xeric and Hydric habitatis. The moisture level in this type of habitats is stable throughout the seasons. These habitats include a river, stream, wet meadows, springs, seeps, irrigated fields or high-elevation habitats in order to maintain the moist level stable.
